Dental Clinic — Services
Please note: the Niagara College Dental clinic cannot provide emergency treatment, extensive restorative or surgical procedures, orthodontics, root canal or denture procedures.
Adult Preventive Dental Services
- Dental Hygiene care is provided by students and supervised by qualified Health Care Professionals.
- Clients are required to commit to a complete round of care, including a complete oral examination and tooth scaling.
- Radiographs, polish and fluoride treatments are provided as necessary.
- Whitening available and custom sports guards are available at an additional cost. Please call for details.
- Limited appointments are available and are two hours in length.
- Please Note: Students are developing their skills and a complete round of care typically requires multiple appointments.
Fees range from $40 to $50.
Restorative Dental Services
- Dental Assisting students perform chair-side skills with dentists from the community.
- Appointments are 1 hour in length and are limited to basic restorative and simple extractions.
- To be eligible for restorative clinic, all patients must complete a full round of Dental Hygiene care.
- Appointments are limited to patients with a recent treatment plan.

Youth and Child Preventive Dental Services
- Preventive care is provided by Dental Hygiene or Dental Assisting students and supervised by qualified Health Care Professionals.
- Youth and children (ages 5 – 15) receive a complete oral examination, scaling, and individual oral hygiene instruction.
- Radiographs, polishing and fluoride treatments are provided as necessary.
- Dental sealants are available at no charge.
- Appointments are two hours in length.
Fee is $30.00.
