Centre Supervisor
Hi my name is Chevelle and I have been in childcare for over 10 years. I have attended both Niagara college and brock university in the early childhood education field. I have a passion to educate the littles and I am so excited to be a part of this amazing team!
Miss. Emily
Toddler - RECE
My name is Emily and I’ve been working in childcare for three years since college from summer camps to youth programs, and now here at Hickory Creek! I come from a huge family: I am the youngest of 6 and an aunt to 14 nieces and nephews, the first nephew being born when I was 7. I love camping and hiking, and in my spare time have a passion for baking: pies are my specialty! I enjoy art, crafts and love having a job that allows me to incorporate creativity and artistic ideas into my work!

Toddler - RECE
Hi my name is Brooke! Although im pretty new in the field, I love and appreciate all of my time spent with the children in my care! Being in the toddler room really allows my inner child to come out and we always have a blast. My favourite colour is yellow, which in a cheesy way reminds me how much I love the sun! I love all things pasta and recently competed in the Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida this past April! I cannot wait to meet you all and welcome your children into my care with open arms!

Hello my name is Amira! I’ve been working in the field for a little over a year and I love it! I can almost guarantee you’ll hear me from the parking lot, either scream singing or laughing! I’m a very energetic person so there’s definitely never a dull moment in the toddler room. I have a chocolate lab named Tug, who is my everything. A fun fact about me is that I use to live up north and got my ECE at canadore college. I’m so excited to meet your children, as they will always be welcomed with love and laughter.

My name is Steph. I have been in the childcare field since 2020. I was inspired to start my career of teaching young children after high school. I am an outdoors enthusiast and love spending my free time camping, backpacking and ATVing. I am very excited to meet and learn along side your child(ren) over the months while preparing them for kindergarten. I cannot wait to discover each unique personality and explore the world around us!

My name is Brittany and I have been an RECE working in the feild for a little over 4 years. I enjoy spending most of my time outdoors, and I love to bring that into the classroom and spend time exploring all that nature has to offer with the children in my care. As an educator I enjoy watching every child in our centre learn and grow each and every day, and I am grateful that i get to learn along side them. Each day brings new opportunity’s and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for all of us at hickory creek!

My name is Kelsey, I am Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe. I’ve been in childcare for over 10 years and love it! In my free time I enjoy beading medallions and making custom moccasins. I also love spending my time outdoors with my two dogs.

Hi my name is Ashley and I’ve been working in childcare for more than 5 months after changing my careers and it was the best decision I ever made! Being with your kids has helped paved my decision to begin the path to obtain my RECE. On my free time I love hanging out with my crazy two pups!
